I am happy to share the information pertains to Andhra University and UGC-HRDC, Andhra University.
Andhra University is known for its highest credentials in Teaching, Research, and Extension activities and it is ranked with NAAC Grade '' A '' with 3.60 rating points. This University was established in the year 1926, completed 95 years of journey in Teaching, Research , Training and Extension services which are considered essential dimensions of Higher Education. Andhra University created good impact in meeting the educational needs of community at large. Thanks to our Beloved Vice-Chancellor Prof. P.V.G.D Prasad Reddy Garu for his relentless efforts in making our university as exemplary to other Universities.
UGC-Human Resource Development Centre conducts Faculty Induction Programmes, Refresher Courses (R.C), Interdisciplinary Refresher Courses (IRDC), Short Term Courses, Panel Discussions, Seminars, Work Shops and Guest Lectures etc regularly as part of training programmes. So far UGC-HRDC, Andhra University, Organized 390 Programmes.
The themes selected for the programmes are socially relevant, professionally useful and also research oriented. The UGC-Human Resource Development Centre, Andhra University was headed previously by great scholars like Prof. K. S. Chalam former UPSC Member, Prof. K. C. Reddy, Chancellor, RGUKT (IIIT's ) Andhra Pradesh and many great scholars, eminent professors.
Under their Leadership, UGC-Human Resource Development Centre, Andhra University has created an impact on the faculty to enhance their Teaching and Research skills . The same legacy has been continued with more vigor and vitality by the UGC-Human Resource Development Centre, Andhra University .
We are very much thankful to our beloved and dynamic Vice-Chancellor Prof. P. V. G.D. Prasad Reddy garu for his guidance and encouragement extended to UGC-HRDC with his visionary thoughts and innovative ideas to meet the needs of the stakeholders from time to time.
The UGC-Human Resource Development Centre, Andhra University express its heartfelt gratefulness to the UGC and the MHRD, Government of India, New Delhi for transforming the lives of the people qualitatively through higher education.
