AU College of Engineering for women was established with a motto –
“Educate a man, you educate one person, educate a women, you educate a complete family”.
The Department of Computer Science & Systems Engineering was started in 2010. The department currently offers B.Tech. in CSE with an intake of 60 seats + 6 seats (lateral entry) and a six year B.Tech+M.Tech. Integrated program in CSE with an intake of 30 seats. The programs offered in the department meets the requirements of both industry and research. The curriculum is designed to train the students developing application programs (software) and also designing computing systems (hardware). The department has qualified staff members and it is well equipped with software and hardware laboratories. There are around 120 high end DELL systems. Even though it is quiet young department, it has organized several technical events like seminars, workshops on Microsoft products, Google Apps, Cisco , R-programming, Cyber security, and many cultural events.
